Week 18: Bautismo De Ian

Buenasssss!! Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Hope everyone is enjoying some great food. Sadly, Thanksgiving isn't really a thing here butttt I still had a great week.

I had the oportunity to baptize Ian this week. It was a super awesome experience. Both of his inactive parents came to his baptism! Also one of the speakers at the baptism talked about how parents need to be raising their kids in the gospel. It is exactly what they needed to here. I'm hoping the entire family comes to church next week. The baptism was so great hahaha right after I baptized Ian he was telling me he didn't want to get out of the water and he started swimming around. But I finallyyyy drug him out.

The night before I baptized Ian we watched Christ's baptism together. Ian was excited for his baptism but after he watched the video he was excited on a whole other level. The spirit was unreal. After I explained that he is going to have the exact baptism with the same authority that Jesus christ had, i could see a change in his spirit and how ready he was to start on the covenant path.

Also for pday we got special permission from presidente to go to this old war ship. There was a war between Peru and Chile in like 1850 and this boat was from the Peru army. And of course chile won and now they have the boat as a little museum. It was super sweet to learn all about how Chile destroyed Peru in this war hahahaha maybe next time @ElderHamblin.

The mission is incredible. I love you all. Till next week. God lives.
