Week 21: Vistas

      Hey friends and family!! I hope everyone had a great week. Missing the snow and Christmas lights back home but the empenadas and street dogs are going to have to do this year hahaha.


        Super great week here! We had 2 of our friends come to church with us this week which was a huge blessing. As of right now they both have baptismal dates for the 23 of December. They both have a long way to go and a lottttt of commandments to learn but I have faith they'll get baptized! It was the primary program at church this week so it was funny having to explain to our friends that we don't have kids lead the sacrament meeting every week haha.


        Also there is a soccer team named Hauchipato and their stadium is in my area. And the other day they won the soccer championship of all Chile. Wow it was insane. The Streets were filled instantly with people throwing beer music blasting cars honking hahaha. It was fun to celebrate with the city in the street for a sec. And now I have a subject to talk to all the old guys at church. Vamos Hauchipato! Also went on a super dope hike to some beach cliffs today for pday.


     Christmas really is a special time of year. I invite all of you to be thinking about Jesus Christ this month and all he's done for us. My mom sent me a pic of me holding a sign after my baptism that says "preparing for my mission." I'll put the pic below. Crazy to think im living my dream. Love you all. God lives.

Week 48: Vamos No Mas

      Helloooo fam and friends!! Hope you are all well and enjoying summer and the warmth. Here in Chile we are freezing.        We had transfers this week and they called me as a Zone Lider! I'm super excited to get to work and help the missionaries in my zone. I also hit 11 months the other day which is crazy. Also something super funny is that I got transferred to another area but in the same city of Tomé!! It's just on the other side hahah. So I don't have to say goodbye to the ocean just yet. Also my new companion is from Peru and has 21 months in the mission so I've got a lot to learn from him.         I'm sad leaving the ward and area where I was at but I'm happy with the work I did. I felt like I really did help with  the gathering of Israel there and I'm excited to keep working. Week 33: Los Evangélicos

      What's up everyone! Had a tough but great week in Chile. I learned a wholeeee lot. To start I better explain the title a little. Idk how I didn't realize this until this week but in my zone where I am serving there are tonsss of other churches. Every contact we had in the street people would say "soy evangélico déjame en paz" hahaha. I then started to realize that every corner here there is an Evangelist church. And these churches aren't empty they are always filled with people singing and playing their electric guitars and drums. I then was talking to a member of my ward and he told me that in 2010 there was a tsunami that wrecked all the houses and churches down by the beach. So all these people moved up on the hill and built their churches. So please pray for me that i can find some people willing to hear the restored and true gospel of Jesus Christ! Week 94-96: La Última Vuelta

      Buenas tardes family and friends!! Hope all is well with you guys. Today is the first day of my last transfer. I'm staying here in the little branch of Dichato with my same companion Elder Stevenson! I'm very grateful for the opportunity I have to finish here and to do everything I can to help this branch before I go. I'm excited to get back and see the fam but I'm also not ready to leave the mission field and to take off the mission tag. As I reflect on the mission I realize it has prepared me to be a great student, a great church leader, and a great father. But the only thing I'm worried about rn is the 6 weeks I have left to represent Jesus christ here in Chile. Ánimo!!!          Our friend Miriam got baptized this week! We had a great baptism service and every member was here to support. She also already has her temple recommend and is going to the temple with the branch tomorrow!!
