Week 25: New Opportunity

What up everyone!! Love and miss you all bad. We got news of transfers this week and I got called as a trainer. Lots of thoughts and feelings came to my mind when I heard the news. I dont even have 6 months in the mission so i felt super incapable to train a new misionary. But after lots of prayers I realized that I am capable to train and looks like my president thinks the same. The flight of new missionaries got in Thursday morning so all of us trainers got there that afternoon to get our new comps.

Super crazy experience being in that same room, listening to the same presentation for new missionaries but this time i was sitting on the back row with the trainers. Feels like yesterday i was sitting in the front row. My companion is Elder Winlow! He is so great. He is from Quebec Canada and his first language is French. He speaks English too but one language he doesnt speak is spanish. Super crazy to be teaching someone that speaks French to speak Spanish but it's fun. It's going to be an adventure lets just say that hahaha.

Obviously as a trainer you have a lot of responsibility. So it's been a little stressful lately but I know the hand of the Lord is with me every step of the way. I know he trusts me to train this new missionary and that I'm capable to do a good job. We have few friends progressing so we are hoping to put some baptism dates soon!

One thing my mission president said in zone conference really made an impression on me and I want to share it with you all. He told us that in our world people are so fast and willing to experiment with bad things. Even if it is just once or just to see what it's like. Then he asked us why are we so slow to experiment with good things. Why don't we experiment with reading the scriptures of single day? There are so many amazing things god has given us to experiment. I invite you all to find the good. Experiment on your spiritual growth and what you can do personally to strengthen your relationship with your heavenly father.

Pray for me and Elder Winlow! And for the people here in chile. Love you all God lives.
