Week 29: La Familia

      Hola a todos. Hope everyone is doing great! Love and miss u all. Elder Winlow and I had such a great week. Gonna be a little short this week due to time but let's get into it.


       I don't remember if you all remember about the family I said we found a week or two ago buttt this week we had 3 lessons with them. Andddd we put a baptismal date for all of them! They are so humble and love when we come by to teach them. I feel like they have genuinely been waiting for missionaries to come by for years. I'm super grateful God put them in our path. So José and his kids are gonna be baptized the 24 of this month. We are also gonna put a baptismal date with another kid from an inactive family so we are excited about that as well. 


     This transfer has been flying by. We already have transfers next week so the next time I send one of these out I could have a new comp and area. I would love to stay another transfer so I can be here for the baptisms but I have a feeling ill be transferred to another area. I'm excited and looking forward to change tho! 


        This plan that God has created is unbelievable. At times I just marvel at how perfect it really is. For all of us to come to earth to experience and to grow. And the scriptures and living prophets are telling us all we need to do so that we achieve eternal life. There is a scripture in Alma 34:32 that says this life is a time for men to prepare to meet God. I invite you all to keep preparing and maybe start preparing. I know Jesus Christ will come again. And the time is near. I love you all. God lives

Week 48: Vamos No Mas

      Helloooo fam and friends!! Hope you are all well and enjoying summer and the warmth. Here in Chile we are freezing.        We had transfers this week and they called me as a Zone Lider! I'm super excited to get to work and help the missionaries in my zone. I also hit 11 months the other day which is crazy. Also something super funny is that I got transferred to another area but in the same city of Tomé!! It's just on the other side hahah. So I don't have to say goodbye to the ocean just yet. Also my new companion is from Peru and has 21 months in the mission so I've got a lot to learn from him.         I'm sad leaving the ward and area where I was at but I'm happy with the work I did. I felt like I really did help with  the gathering of Israel there and I'm excited to keep working. Week 33: Los Evangélicos

      What's up everyone! Had a tough but great week in Chile. I learned a wholeeee lot. To start I better explain the title a little. Idk how I didn't realize this until this week but in my zone where I am serving there are tonsss of other churches. Every contact we had in the street people would say "soy evangélico déjame en paz" hahaha. I then started to realize that every corner here there is an Evangelist church. And these churches aren't empty they are always filled with people singing and playing their electric guitars and drums. I then was talking to a member of my ward and he told me that in 2010 there was a tsunami that wrecked all the houses and churches down by the beach. So all these people moved up on the hill and built their churches. So please pray for me that i can find some people willing to hear the restored and true gospel of Jesus Christ! Week 94-96: La Última Vuelta

      Buenas tardes family and friends!! Hope all is well with you guys. Today is the first day of my last transfer. I'm staying here in the little branch of Dichato with my same companion Elder Stevenson! I'm very grateful for the opportunity I have to finish here and to do everything I can to help this branch before I go. I'm excited to get back and see the fam but I'm also not ready to leave the mission field and to take off the mission tag. As I reflect on the mission I realize it has prepared me to be a great student, a great church leader, and a great father. But the only thing I'm worried about rn is the 6 weeks I have left to represent Jesus christ here in Chile. Ánimo!!!          Our friend Miriam got baptized this week! We had a great baptism service and every member was here to support. She also already has her temple recommend and is going to the temple with the branch tomorrow!!
