Week 39: La Casa Del Señor

      Hola mis queridos amigos! Hope everyone is doing great back at home. I have a few highlights that I'd like to share with u all from the week. But also wanted to thank you all for the prayers. My president said to me "think about all the people that are praying for you." A lottt of u came to my mind so thank you fr:)


     Alright to start I had the privilege to enter into God's house this week. Always a great experience in the temple but this time was a lot different. After general conference I have been thinking about temples. I've been studying and praying about the covenants we do inside. Thanks to some studies in doctrine and covenants and some talks from gc I prepared myself and was able to receive personal revelation inside. All Will Be Well Because of Temple Covenants! But sadly after this amazing experience, everyone in the mission had to get a flu shot and for those of you who know me, not a big fan of needles. Didn't end up on my back tho so we good hahahah. 


     Also huge miracle we saw this week. In my sector there is a little town super far from the church. We have to take a little bus to get there. Anyways we have a friend there that is progressing. She's never been able to come to church cause it really is a trip to get here. But we had an amazing lesson with her Saturday night about the plan of salvation and she told us she was gonna come to church. Next morning her and her daughter got up early to wait at the little bus stop to come into town. Like 20 minutes before church she sent us a text that the bus didn't pass by and that she wasn't gonna be able to make. 15 minutes go by and literalmente out of nowhere we see her and her daughter get dropped off right in front of the church. She told us that right before they were gonna leave the bus stop and walk home a man drove by, stopped his car, asked where they are going, they said the church, and he said hop in. She told us she knows everyone in her town personally but has never seen this man in her life. I know God sent an angel that day. I'll put a pic of us at church below.


    Me and my comp have been shooting hoops at the church for morning exercises. 
I'm addicted to mate.
I love my family.
We redid the entire roof of someone's house this week.
I miss my friends.
The church is true.

Week 48: Vamos No Mas

      Helloooo fam and friends!! Hope you are all well and enjoying summer and the warmth. Here in Chile we are freezing.        We had transfers this week and they called me as a Zone Lider! I'm super excited to get to work and help the missionaries in my zone. I also hit 11 months the other day which is crazy. Also something super funny is that I got transferred to another area but in the same city of Tomé!! It's just on the other side hahah. So I don't have to say goodbye to the ocean just yet. Also my new companion is from Peru and has 21 months in the mission so I've got a lot to learn from him.         I'm sad leaving the ward and area where I was at but I'm happy with the work I did. I felt like I really did help with  the gathering of Israel there and I'm excited to keep working. Week 33: Los Evangélicos

      What's up everyone! Had a tough but great week in Chile. I learned a wholeeee lot. To start I better explain the title a little. Idk how I didn't realize this until this week but in my zone where I am serving there are tonsss of other churches. Every contact we had in the street people would say "soy evangélico déjame en paz" hahaha. I then started to realize that every corner here there is an Evangelist church. And these churches aren't empty they are always filled with people singing and playing their electric guitars and drums. I then was talking to a member of my ward and he told me that in 2010 there was a tsunami that wrecked all the houses and churches down by the beach. So all these people moved up on the hill and built their churches. So please pray for me that i can find some people willing to hear the restored and true gospel of Jesus Christ! Week 94-96: La Última Vuelta

      Buenas tardes family and friends!! Hope all is well with you guys. Today is the first day of my last transfer. I'm staying here in the little branch of Dichato with my same companion Elder Stevenson! I'm very grateful for the opportunity I have to finish here and to do everything I can to help this branch before I go. I'm excited to get back and see the fam but I'm also not ready to leave the mission field and to take off the mission tag. As I reflect on the mission I realize it has prepared me to be a great student, a great church leader, and a great father. But the only thing I'm worried about rn is the 6 weeks I have left to represent Jesus christ here in Chile. Ánimo!!!          Our friend Miriam got baptized this week! We had a great baptism service and every member was here to support. She also already has her temple recommend and is going to the temple with the branch tomorrow!!
