Week 65&66: For He Loveth The World
What's up my friends and family! Just wanted to write to you all quick and give an update on the work of the Lord here in Chile! I completed 15 months as a missionary so that's crazy. I am feeling good where I am at at this point in my mission. I have been able to be an instrument in the hands of God in many ways! But it's so interesting that as a missionary one is never satisfied with the work he or she has done. We are always thinking about who next will receive the message of the restored gospel. I'm excited for the many months I have left!
I have loved serving here in Conce Centro. We talk with a lottttt of people daily and I have gotten to know many many different types of people. I have a strong relationship with my ward and the leaders that are here. One of my converts here claudio got the priesthood the other day and passed the sacrament! In the time I have been here I have seen great advances in the work of the Lord. We have transfers next week so we will see what happens!
Me and my companion also had the oportunity to present in a mission conference this week! It's always fun to be in front of many missionaries and help them improve.
Last thing is a scripture that has helped me a lot on my mission. 2 nefi 26:24 "He doeth not anything save it be for the benefit of the world; for he loveth the world, even that he layeth down his own life that he may draw all men unto him. Wherefore, he commandeth none that they shall not partake of his salvation." During many times on my mission I have asked myself why Jesus christ had to suffer so badly. And this scripture is my conformation that he did it all because he loves us. He did everything according to the will of his father and according to the pure love he has for me and for you.
Have a great week! God lives.
