What up fam and friends! Gonna keep this email short but hope I can get everything in. Also love and miss u all. Alright let's get it.     To start some lame news. We had emergency transfers which had nothing to do with us. So my dear Elder Milius got transfered and I received Elder Paiva. He is from Rio de Janeiro Brazil. He's super great and hyped to work with him.       Our friend Jean-Charles got baptized this week. He is such a dog I love him. He's from Haiti and has lived in Chile for 6 years. He left Haiti to find a better life so I'm glad we could help him be born again by being baptized! A giant miracle. Also we had another young men from the ward baptized him so that was great to see!         Our little Ward here in Chile is growing little by little and it's so beautiful to see. This is God's work. I have been super exhausted lately. At the end of the day i am cooooked. But reading in the scriptu...

Week 44: Por Fin

After 3 months, about 100 lessons and with every type of opposition possible, our friend Pamela was baptized! I found her in my first week here in Tomé and have been teaching her ever since. It was a very special moment being able to see her be baptized. Baptism changes lives. I've seen way to much proof of it during my time out here. Pamela was catholic and was not planning on changing until we taught her about covenants that we make with our heavenly father. And yesterday she made her first. We are extremely blessed as members of the church of Jesus christ to have access and power these covenants. Pamela is already seeing and feeling a difference in her life.        Also in our ward we have baptized enough people that they just called and formed a Sunday school class for the recent converts. In my first counsel with the bishop here, he told us that having this class was a goal the ward has had for awhile. And finally just within 3 months we have...

Week 42&43: Sonyas Baptism

Good morning everyone! Hope everything is going great back in Idaho. Once again I had another great week here in Chile for many different reasons. But the favorite part of the week was the baptism of Sonya!       We found Sonya in the street about 3 weeks ago. She told us she was going through a hard time and was looking for a job. Right there in the street we shared with her Jacob 2:18 "But before ye seek for riches, seek ye for the kingdom of God."       And here we are 3 weeks later and she is a member of the church of Jesus Christ. The baptism service was incredible. We did it on Sunday right after church and basically the entire ward stayed to support her. The chapel was packed! She invited all of her catholic family members to come and they all came. It was a miracle cause they don't get along with the "mormons" hahaha. And after the baptism they told sonya that they felt the spirit and want to start coming to church. Also we ...
